Have you ever heard the term mind-induced orgasm? It is not a particularly common term, but it attracted some attention in Japan after being featured on AbemaTV for a while. Put simply, a mind-induced orgasm is an orgasm that happens without touching the genitals.
Just as there are individual differences in how easily women can experience vaginal orgasms, there are also considerable differences in how easily women can experience mind-induced orgasms.
In this article, I will explain the characteristics of mind-induced orgasms, how they can happen, and what kinds of women tend to experience them more easily. For reference, the article below explains vaginal orgasms in more detail.
What Exactly Is a Mind-Induced Orgasm?
When a woman is able to experience a mind-induced orgasm, she is often in a hypnotic or trance-like state. To put hypnosis simply, it is a state in which suggestions can directly influence the body’s responses.
- “Your hand is starting to rise” → the hand rises
- “Your eyelids are getting heavier” → the eyes close
- “Your whole body is becoming an erogenous zone” → even gentle stroking can make her cry out
You have probably seen hypnosis videos on YouTube. When that kind of hypnotic response is connected with sexual pleasure, it can lead to what I call a mind-induced orgasm. During a mind-induced orgasm, a woman may feel as though penetration is happening even when there is nothing inside her, which can allow her to experience sensations similar to a vaginal orgasm.
There are also different levels of depth with mind-induced orgasms.
- Orgasming simply from physical contact
- Orgasming simply from hearing a voice
- Orgasming without any stimulation at all
As sensitivity increases through these stages, eventually there are cases where I can simply be lying beside a woman without doing anything, while she continues orgasming and crying out on her own.
How Do Mind-Induced Orgasms Work?
As described above, the mechanism behind mind-induced orgasms is very similar to hypnosis. A common hypnosis demonstration, for example, involves imagining that balloons are attached to someone’s arm and causing the arm to rise on its own. By repeatedly reinforcing the idea that “if the other person says it will happen, then it must happen,” the suggestion can gradually become strong enough that the body begins responding without conscious doubt.
With mind-induced orgasms, I use suggestions such as, “Hearing my voice is starting to give you chills and make you feel good,” or, “Your body is already starting to twitch.” In this way, the mind gradually begins associating the sound of my voice with automatic physical reactions. Eventually, it may become possible for her to imagine intense stimulation deep inside her body so vividly that she cries out even though I am not touching her at all.
The Three Stages of a Mind-Induced Orgasm
Here are the different stages that may lead to a mind-induced orgasm.
1. Orgasming Simply from Physical Contact
At this stage, the woman is still fully clothed. No toys or other tools are used, but many women can relatively quickly begin experiencing mild mind-induced orgasms, even if they have never experienced a vaginal orgasm before.
2. Orgasming Simply from Hearing a Voice
As mild mind-induced orgasms continue repeatedly, awareness can gradually become more distant and trance-like. A woman may begin responding to the word “orgasm,” or by matching my pace to her breathing, it may become possible for her breathing itself to trigger orgasmic responses.
3. Orgasming Without Any Stimulation at All
At this stage, counting numbers can be used to trigger imagined sensations similar to a vaginal orgasm.
As I count down toward zero, the body’s reactions may become increasingly intense until she reaches orgasm when the count reaches zero. After that, she may even become able to orgasm simply by remembering the sensation of a vaginal orgasm.
How Good Does a Mind-Induced Orgasm Feel? Is It Better Than a Vaginal Orgasm?
One woman who experienced it described it like this.
It honestly felt so good that it was almost overwhelming. I felt completely overwhelmed by the pleasure.
I usually have a really hard time falling asleep, but afterward I don’t even remember deciding to go to sleep. Maybe it was almost like losing consciousness.
When my mind went completely blank from how good it felt, it felt like I was flying through the sky. I’ve never actually flown, of course (lol), but that’s what it felt like. Maybe it was a sense of complete freedom?
It’s embarrassing to say this, but I never thought I would become someone who enjoyed sex this much… It really was such a happy experience. Even having someone say good morning to me the next day made me feel incredibly happy. I don’t remember saying good night, though (lol).
What Kind of Women Experience Mind-Induced Orgasms Easily? Can Anyone Do It?
As with vaginal orgasms, there seem to be certain traits that are more common among women who can experience mind-induced orgasms. Of course, some women can experience vaginal orgasms but not mind-induced orgasms. In my experience, women who experience mind-induced orgasms relatively easily often have characteristics like the following.
- They enjoy music, theater, movies, stage performances, novels, or other activities that involve immersing themselves deeply in a story or identifying with another person
- They are easily affected by other people’s words and may dwell on even an unintentionally hurtful comment for a long time
- They sometimes prioritize other people’s feelings and suppress their own
- They sometimes remain deeply devoted to a man they love even when the relationship causes them pain
As a general tendency, I feel that women who naturally prioritize their partner’s feelings tend to experience mind-induced orgasms more easily than women who mainly focus on their own pleasure. To completely let go and enter a state of freedom, you also have to temporarily let go of your usual sense of self. As repeated mind-induced orgasms deepen, some women may lose parts of their memory, faint, or even become so deeply immersed that they no longer clearly recognize who is speaking to them despite me being right in front of them.
Just as physical training can make the body stronger, I believe women can also train their minds and imagination to become more responsive to imagined sexual sensations. Once a woman becomes able to experience mind-induced orgasms, vaginal orgasms may also become much easier for her.
Mind-induced orgasms are closely related to hypnosis. I also share experience reports from women who were guided from hypnosis into mind-induced orgasms.
